New York Block
 

I have been practicing this block for the last 2-3 weeks, and I'm finally ready to do a quilt!

Here is the first real block (not yet sewn together because I'm done for the night!)

Thanks everyone! I've sewn them together and now it's not "perfect" LOL only off by 1/4 inch on one of the seams, not to sure how that happened when I paper-pieced the whole thing ... oh well, only another quilter / perfectionist will notice!

Stunning! Judging from the mat its on, I'm guessing its a 15" or 16" block. (?) If so, it sure is a lot of little parts! You're doing a fantastic job and I love your main fabric. Please be sure to post a picture when its finished.
