The quilt is lovely and someone got a treasure at a bargain price. Hope your daughter and her group have a wonderful time in NY, there's really no place like it. Any chance you could come along?

I love the colors of the quilt. Very relaxing and worth a lot more than $170 but went to a really good thing. Hope your daughter enjoys her trip in the US.

About six weeks ago my daughter Caroline asked if I would make a vintage style double quilt to be sold at an auction night to help raise funds....so amongst the madness I said yes.....it involved quite a few late nights and I finished it just in time for tonights auction....nothing fancy but I have had such fun making it......has really got me back into quilting, can't wait to start my next project and even though life is still hectic I feel so much happier....I have so enjoyed it........and the best part was there were quite a few bids and it sold for $170......I am totally amazed.....the whole evening was a great success and raised lots of money .........one step closer to New York

Next time sell raffle tickets for quilts that way you will raise more money from you worthy quilt for a worthy cause.
