Congratulations on quilting something for you. You may be new, but you have accomplished something many of us havent been able to do for years. Seems like every time I think "this on is for me" someone else comes along and "needs" it more than I do. Just keep stitching and enjoying your hobby, that is the important part. As for the boo-boos, someone once said, "If you can see it from a racing horse, stop, and redo it...otherwise just keep going" or something like that.

But let me tell you I am dang proud.......this is called Saddle Tramps and since we raise Appaloosas, and consider ourselves saddle tramps, it seemed perfect. It was the first time I used a rotary cutter, first time I tried a quilt out of a pattern, and the first time I made something for "us". My sweetheart loves it and he is sooooo supportive.... |
put them in a container, and save them for a "scrappy quilt"

That is a very nice quilt...congratulations on doing all those "firsts"! Now you will be on a roll. It is always nice when your "other half" approves of what you have done!!

You did good for your first try. I'm sure mine didn't look this good. Happy stitching and many more quilts in the future.
