Don't you just love making and giving them? I just finished one Toy Story and two shark ones. Will be starting on the soccer and Cat in the Hat ones next. They are so easy and quick to do. The grandboys love them and it helps me keep in touch with them since they do not live near me.

This made me laugh! I made pillowcases for some gifts at Christmas last year, and I made fleece blankies for the pets. My son requested a fleece pillowcase for his cat. The cat loves it!!!

I just love making the pillowcases, I make them for my grandsons and they love them also, they are always looking for new fabric for me. Yours are gorgeous.

Yep, all the cats and dogs got fleece blankets last year for Christmas. Plus 2 of the dogs got home made fleece scarves for their picture with Santa!!!

I make them for my 40 year old friends!!! Some of the fabrics they choose makes me ask for their driver's license so I can be sure they really are 40!!!

Do you have a favorite basic "EASY" pillowcase pattern that you use most of the time that you'd be willing to share, please?? My dd wants to make her niece a pillowcase for her birthday & one for Christmas. She is, however, a very beginning sewer, so needs all the help she can get!!!!

Your pillow cases are very pretty. I make them too. I donated some to the children's hospital here in TN. The kids went wild over their own pillow cases. They are kids that are really, really sick and in the hospital for very long times. One mother said her daughter hadn't smiled in a very long time until she got her very own "fairy" pillow case.

I bought a pillowcase kit and it came with a pattern and I keep using it over and over again. It is not currently where I can put my hands on it (translation: Lost in sewing room) but my only goal tomorrow is to straighten that room because it is driving me crazy. I can send it to you after I find it if you want. I might even have a couple of others that I pulled off the internet too that I could send.
