Er visited the bridges in Madison County in October and that was a fun diversion. We go out of our way to see covered bridges whenever possible. You have done a wonderful job of recreating them. I love the work you have done.

coopah 03-31-2014 05:02 AM

Very nice stitching. Will you share the finished quilt with us? PLease? Please? We have been through several covered bridges, and searched for them in Oregon. Not many of those bridges left.

Wow great blocks.

Jingle 03-31-2014 07:33 AM

Missouri still has covered bridges, a few around here. Your work is great.

callen 03-31-2014 07:38 AM

Love covered bridges. Saw my first one when we holidayed in New Hampshire one summer. They are such historic landmarks & should be cherished.

madamekelly 03-31-2014 09:06 AM

I have been watching this thread. Your bridges are beautiful. We have seven covered bridges in our county. We are the covered bridge tourist spot on the West Coast of America!

buddy'smom 03-31-2014 09:17 AM

New hampshire is stunning, I love it there. Thanks so much.

Your bridges are beautiful. Makes me want to get out my embroidery hoop again. My 2nd quilt was for my second granddaughter and it was an ABC embroidered quilt. I learned to embroidery in vacation Bible school when I was about 9 or 10. Never will forget the time I embroidered a rather large section to my skirt and had to take it all out.

Quilter 65 03-31-2014 10:03 AM

Very pretty blocks. Please share the quilt when finished!

MargeD 03-31-2014 11:58 AM
