Next Orange Peel

Well, I posted the finished table runner I did in this pattern, but I actually started this first. I had so much fun making the pattern that I ended up doing the runner. Anyway, here is the finished top. It is a gift for my Grandma In Law's 93rd birthday (May 31). So, once I get it sandwiched, I'm excited to quilt it. :) Thanks for looking. I'll keep adding pictures as I get further along.

Thank you! And, they are appliqued.

Wow! Thank you everyone. I love that butterfly fabric so much I had to order more, and I almost never do that! Everyone here is so encouraging. :) Blue is my favorite color as well, and I almost wanted to keep it! Ha ha. I'll just have to make something blue and white for myself. :)

You can always post pictures and ask for help. I can't take the credit for the blues, I cheated and got a layer cake. I just added a couple dark solids to set them off. :) This is the collection I used:

....and did you do the MSQC tute on orange peels too.....your is lovely.......I'm working on a scrappy, but my machine refuses to sew that joining seam with the bulk of the orange peel on its left side...sigh, a trip to dealer in the near future to find out why!!!!!

Yep! I sure did! Too bad about your machine! Maybe you could use your walking foot and do a straight stitch around the edge.
