Nez Perce Warrior and Eagle

1 Attachment(s)
This is my latest pattern of a Nez Perce Warrior and Eagle. I think I will do this one as a kit as the fabrics would be hard to find. I am in the process of quilting it now. I'm just quiting a basic Native American design in contrasting stitching on the background and the eagle feathers. It is fusible applique made with hand dyed fabrics. It measures 23 x 27 inches. I'm having a hard time getting a true picture of it for some reason.

Great quilt. Also being part Cherokee, I would like to see your quilting patterns..

KLO 05-16-2012 12:01 PM

I am intrigued by everyone of the quilts that you post here. The fabric is always "just right" for the pattern. This one is wonderful too. The face fabric is perfect. I cannot remember if you said that you dye you own fabric or not. Either way, you sure know how to pick the right piece for whatever it is that you are working on. Since you mentioned that you will do this one as a kit, does that mean that you are now selling your patterns/kits? And if so, where?

sniktasemaj 05-16-2012 12:15 PM

That is really nice!

Well, you "done it agin", my dear friend!!!! This is fabulous. I am in awe of all you do, and think of you every single day as I look at our Sadie that you captured so beautifully for us. The colors in this piece are perfect. The eagle is just right and the man's face is just the right shade and expression!
Love,
Oma (you know who)
