I like them both! I make lots of bright quilts for children. I just don't understand why people think babies would like pastels in a quilt.

Gorgeous! I love brights for baby quilts too. The one I made for my 9 month old is so bright you need sunglasses to look at it! LOL He loves it too, with all of the brights and contrasts...so much to catch his attention and look at!
