Looks nice! I am glad you found a way to solve the problem. I seem to remember growing up that most sewing cabinets recessed the machine and had a folding top that folded down to great a large surface for the fabric off to the left of the recessed machine. I have been sewing on the kitchen table and think I need to hunt up a recessed cabinet or something that can be converted. Thanks for the photo!

It's good that the solution worked out for you..... sore shoulders do not go together with sewing!!
