I too do reverse sewing all the time! You know you aren't alone.

I hate when that happens, but I think we have all been there. The kicker is if we don't notice it until it's quilted. When my daughter was going away to college, she wanted to take a quilt with her, she said she didn't want a quilt like any of my quilts. Was there a compliment in there? I doubt it. Anyway she went through my stash cutting up squares, wanting no two squares to be alike. She still hasn't found the one fabric she used twice, and I didn't catch it until I was quilting it; but I never said a thing. Anyway, I rather like your new design element in the quilt.

I thought that I was the only one that "Became one with the seam ripper" LOL did you try the electric ripper yet?

Merrylin 01-20-2016 05:53 PM

Beautiful colors! Now you can act like a frog and "rippit rippit." lol

Electric? That sounds dangerous. I've done even worse damage to a quilt with over zealous ripping. Are you talking about the one that looks like a barber's tool? My BFF bought one and it took two of us to use it. We weren't impressed.

I think when we share are mistakes and can laugh at ourselves it's a good thing. We've all done something a little crazy at sometime. BTW, I keep "several" rippers nearby when sewing. LOL
