belmer 04-02-2010 10:01 AM

I am In love with it. That is an awesome Quilt, you did a fabulous job on it. Give yourself a GREAT BIG pat on the back for finishing that one. I'm curious though, Did you quilt it as you go,(in sections) or did you quilt it on a regular machine alredy pieced together as one?
I hope your putting this on your bed now and not waiting til Christmas. It's just too beautiful to put away.
Brenda

I made the middle trees & stars, then sewed each row around them. To make it king size I added a extra row of patchwork and a extra row of piano keys......Its for my DD. I quilted it on my longarm. Didn't think I would ever get to that point...lol.

Darlene 04-02-2010 11:34 AM

A real beautiful quilt and a wonderful gift for your DD. An heirloom in the making.

Maggiesmom 04-02-2010 12:43 PM

Your quilt is simply AWESOME! You have accomplished making and quilting a beautiful quilt for your DD

Esqmommy 04-02-2010 06:26 PM

Wow, how prettty that is. Will you hand sew the binding down? That is a tremendous amount of work. I've never made a quilt larger than a double bed size - and it only goes over the edges slightly.

Good job on that quilt, it's really quite lovely

maggiemuggins 04-03-2010 04:51 AM

What a big beautiful quilt...love the colours...great job.

stitchinwitch 04-03-2010 05:10 AM

mpspeedy 04-03-2010 07:16 AM

WOW! Big, bright and beautiful. How long did it take you to piece all of that and such a good job with the points etc. Binding will be another big job.

tslowery 04-03-2010 07:19 AM

Wow...I think this is a beautiful quilt...You should just send that one to me and make one just like it for her....lol

wvdek 04-03-2010 07:20 AM

A work of a shear genius or a really crazy quilter. Either way, truly a piece of art!
