Very easy - the main body measures 6" x 8.5". Fits pretty snugly. I drew out 6 X 8.5 rectangle on a piece of paper and added the rounded flap basically just eyballed it. Cut one plain rectangle and one with the flap.
Then I pieced the crumbs and cut the shapes out of that pieced fabric. I backed and quilted them, making essentially two potholders.
Then I bound the top edge of the plain rectangle and sewed the two quilted pieces together with a 1/4" seam (pinned carefully so that the raw edges matched up).
Next I bound all the way around with pre-made double-fold bias tape (has to be bias because of the curved edge of the flap). It would probably look nicer if you used bias binding and sewed it down on the back by hand.
My four year old daughter said it best: "Look, it's like a big potholder!". Basically, it is just two potholders bound together.

Vickimc - I couldn't wait. My husband was going to a city with a Barnes and Noble so I had him go by and get it for me in person.

See, I worried that they would be out, seeing as it was two days after Christmas, but he managed to get one. But the anticipation will make it more exciting when you get yours.

Nice idea! Aren't ebook readers great? I have a Kindle and my daughter has a Sony and we both love them.
