I agree! It looks like you planned it that way! And your 5-year-old won't care, that's for sure! Great Job!!!

Beautiful! I love all the colors & the quirky triangles look like you planned it that way. Regardless your 5 year old is going to love it forever so finish it up!

I think it is a cheery and happy quilt!! The triangles go with the cut of the boats - very cute!!

It is such a cute quilt. The colors are so lively and your child will never notice any 'mistakes' on it, only the love that went into making it.

I love it-it's so cute!! Not that yours is wonky but wonky blocks are so popular right now (wonky log cabins, square in a square, etc). Yours is perfect the way it is.

Ya'll are so sweet! I just might work on it tomorrow. Right after I dig out my sewing table and workbench! LOL! I already made the pillow case to go with it and he has been sleeping with that, but you are right. I just need to knuckle under and get it done. It's just that I have to have a big work space so I can lay it out and pin those stupid, dumb, blasted triangles! But they do really make the quilt. I just wish someone else was dealing with it for me! Ha! And I have to finish so many things it is just overwhelming sometimes. And then I get on here and get all these new ideas I want to do right now but I have to finish something, anything. That would be good. Rambling now. It is so past my bedtime. You are all the best!

I know this is 'old school' and extra work but.... with pencil and ruler in hand draw seam allowances on the pieces (being careful not to stretch). With right sides together match up the pieces and stitch. This should solve the problem. Hope this helps. If not do as the other ladies suggest...stop stressing and slap it together.

I love it.
