The "mistakes" add to the quirkiness. Love it and finish it. don't obsess. In fact it's the non-perfections that makes a quilt perfect!

It's beautiful...and i hate triangles, too! Can never seem to get them exactly right!

This quilt is VERY cute. You will be happy with it when it's done, sometime down the line. I like it.

Unless your 5 year old is an undercover (Ha Ha) quilt police I don't think perfection is part of the design. Kids don't care! You made it for him (?) and that is all that matters.

I agree with Quiltinggirl, you're being WAY too critical. Points won't matter to your dd, having it to snuggle with is what's important for her. So what if it has a few Love Errors, that's what will make it her's alone.

I think it looks great. like my DH says it is the little imperfections that shows it is homemade :)

Actually I think it is so cute. Tell them it was suppose to be like that. After all it is for a child!!! They will love it no matter what. Just finish it and then , no more worrys about it.... Love it!!!
