I am trying to become a quilter, but it's hard. LOL Here are my first lap top quilts I made as gifts for my family and friends. They loved them, but you all know this is not "real quilting"..RIGHT?

[ATTACH=CONFIG]134101[/ATTACH] This is for my niece, she LOVES orange and shoes [ATTACH=CONFIG]134102[/ATTACH] The back is solid orange lke the border on the front [ATTACH=CONFIG]134288[/ATTACH] This is the back of the Bike Quilt, I named Two Wheels or Two Heels, cause the back is motifs of shoes! [ATTACH=CONFIG]134627[/ATTACH] This is for another friend, she loves BIKES!! [ATTACH=CONFIG]135124[/ATTACH] Two Wheels or Two Heels Quilt [ATTACH=CONFIG]135196[/ATTACH] |
If these are not real quilts I don't know what REAL is. Good job, yes, you ARE a real quilter!:)

Looks like real quilting to me. Quilters are just crafty people with a preference for fabric. You are officially one of us!

Let's see what makes a quilter? Someone who put fabric together, sandwiches it, sews it to make a beautiful quilt. That is whether it is a panel or fabric cut up. I think you are a quilter and you have done a wonderful with these quilts.

Uh, duh, what is a real quilter???? You are, of course, a person who has an affinity for a needle and some fabric. You appear to have gone the extra mile and designed expressly for your recipients. You are a quilter!!!
