Since I am on a spending diet, and confined to kitchen sewing, I decided to play with all the ideas for the twister template. I have a bunch of the 5" squares, Moda Miss Jump's Scrapbag. And since I read someone saying something about cutting out of plexiglass, I remembered I have a piece in the basement. Voila! Here is what I have done; not sewed together yet. That's later.

even has little plastic feet

I'm working on one now (or should be) & I must say your cutting area is much neater than mine!

Well, the sewing machine is in the kitchen, and the cutting and ironing are in the spare room with the GK's toys. I am trying to NOT make too big of a mess.

Someone said 3/4". I thought that looked about right; guess you could do 1". The template is 3 1/2" square.

Thanks, I have it all put together. It's about placemat size. I want to put some borders on it and finish it up tonight.

I am trying to figure out how the tool works. Do you line the drawmlines on you seams?
