I think your fabric choice is very nice. My vote is to keep going but if you don't like it then you need to do something different. You'll never be happy with it.

I think you have to ask yourself: will you really like it when it's done. What one person loves, another may not be satisfied with at all. I agree with jillaine and with you. (That also applies to my tendency of swimming against the current.) I think you should select a color from the awesome base fabric and then find a brighter version of this colour. This is just the opinion of a newbie to quilting. |
Looks good to me. I'm a fan of neutrals, so I'd say keep up the good work.

The beige jumps out over the other color. If that is what you are intending then you chose correctly; if not you will need to try something else. However, the pattern is very cool. Tks. G
