I just finished the same top, but instead of matching colors I mixed them up.....made it more scrappy. It's for my granddaughter in Chicago who has now moved into a big girl bed. Quilting it today.

That is a beautiful quilt. I would also have to bow to my slight OCD and be in control as you were!
Do you have the link for the pattern? Not sure how I acquired the pattern page; think it must have come in the mail, maybe as free in a magazine subscription offer? I do not and have never subscribed to the magazine, but it's from American Patchwork & Quilting Magazine, and at the top of the page reads "Free gift #1". It's a pattern designed by Kathie Holland. Sorry, I don't know how long I've had this page. Maybe the others who said they have it and/or have used the pattern can provide additional information. It's marked "beginner" and is easy to cut and assemble. A great way to use up scraps. I really like the pattern image more than the one I made because the colors are softer and more blended. But I used the scraps I had, which were bolder, and am happy enough with it; it's just different from the picture on the pattern. Thanks again, all! |

Very nice!
I am making one currently. It is a lot of cutting but I use my cutting machine and that helps it go faster. jmoore: I am using my cut strips as leaders/Enders. :) My pattern also came in a magazine mailer envelope. Connie |

Do you have the link for the pattern? Here's a link I found online for this pattern: http://www.allpeoplequilt.com/quilt-...-squares-quilt |
I love your quilt! I've seen the pattern before and people talk about cutting rectangles (I won't do that!) but I wonder if the quilt can be made by creating strata and cutting across it and assembling. Just thinking...

Really like this quilt and your fabrics.
