I have been wanting to try this forever! I needed to do something special for my dear friend who already has so much...so I searched for this pattern to put on her wall when she is celebrating HER holiday as she celebrates all of mine with me. It's not perfect but next time will be better.

Sorry, I "previewed" when I should have "sent"

Its lovely colors, I was wrong in first posting, just so use to seeing the 7 branch, but 9 is correct for Hanukkah. She will be so pleased you thought of her.

"with meaning" = Symbolism.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Menorah

Hanukah is known as the Festival of Light - you know - the story of the Maccabees and little bit of oil that was only supposed to last one night lighting the 2nd Temple but lasted eight days.

It's a lovely wall hanging and I'm positive your friend will really appreciate it.

Thanks for the wiki link. I sent a text to a friend who is Jewish and he said depending could be 7 could be 9 now I know why.
