Nice job on the remake of the quilt! I agree with a the other ladies that have comments posted...you have more patience than I would have had doing this project! Would love to see the finished quilt, please post.

I like your idea for the border

SandyinZ4 05-19-2012 06:49 PM

Wow! If you had the patience to take this apart and completely make it over, I think whatever you do with the border will be fabulous. Gosh. Makes me tired just thinking about your job. You did great.

Excellent SAVE! I could never do that! I wouldn't even attempt to advise someone with so much talent and perseverance! I am sure that whatever you decide to do it will be perfect!

It looks so much better now! I like the white border better than the blue... white looks fresh and clean. The blue makes it look drab. Add as small white inner border then use the blue for a second border. or something else altogether. You can always use the blue on the back for a scrappy backing. I've seen a lot of scrappy backs lately.
Lighten it up. It's really pretty.

You've done a great job redoing this quilt. Can't say I would have worked that hard on it - would have put it in my do someday pile. Applaud your skill and patience.

I was thinking much the same but sewdarnbusy said it first.
