These small clothespin bags are fun and easy to make. The problem I had was searching for the wooden craft hangers. Found them when I was in Melbourne. I make them as gifts and also for sale at Charity Fairs.

Darling dress "holders" I remember when most clothes lines had a dress holder.

Those are so cute. I have never seen them done like dresses. My daughter does them with little boys shirts that she picks up at second hand shops.

jmabby 07-28-2011 03:53 AM

Nice to make your own!!

... my Mom used to make them using our old dresses, and just sewed the bottoms, backs and sleeves up, with a slit or V in front to give a large enough opening for our hand to get the clothes pins!

kateyb 07-28-2011 05:24 AM

Very cute. My mom never had any cloths pin bags that pretty.

Those are so cute. I would love to be able to use one of those. But I can't hang clothes outside anymore. I have really bad allergies to pine pollen and smoke burning wood.

Cyn 07-28-2011 08:37 AM

Sorry, I don't have the original pattern. I was given a bag long ago. When that bag became worn, I used it as a pattern to make my own bags.

blueangel 07-28-2011 08:42 AM

Cute

Connie in CO 07-28-2011 08:45 AM

Those are so cute.

carolstvnsn 07-28-2011 08:59 AM

I love them. They wouldn't be all that useful here in the pacific northwest with all the rain, but they are still very tempting.

Jammin' Jane 07-28-2011 09:03 AM

Very cute!

belmer 07-28-2011 10:13 AM

Adorable... I sure remember these clothespin bags. My Mother had two of them, with the big family and always hanging clothes on the line. Brings back memories!

Bueniebabe 07-29-2011 04:05 AM

Very Nice. My husband does not want me hanging his clothes outside. He wants them in the dryer. I have a neighbor that burns stuff outside when I did hang clothes out.
