I think it really needed to be wider - I had meant it to be a crib size quilt, had to make it longer because it needed to be longer on each of the verses (re-thinking I would have made it a foot wider and the verses only 2 lines long). It turned out to be 3' wide and almose 6' long- nice for his mom, she wraps him in it!. There are things I would like to do on another one - but I will probably do something totally different - so glad I did this one, and I learned alot. I would definitly add a border the next time (thanks for that sugestion)!

You don't need any advice! This quilt is absolutely adorable the way it is. Congratulations on a job very well one. I love it. I would love to be there when the recipient of this quilt gets it.
