I made this Christmas tree last year and this year I am making two more for my daughters the ornaments are attached with a button so you can add one for every day leading to Christmas! There are twenty four little ornaments and the whole thing us paper pieced the pattern is a Cindi Edgerton pattern!

That is absolutely adorable. I have my tree pin basted and probably won't have time to quilt it this year. Too many quilts that are gifts this year.

llweezie 11-24-2015 06:26 AM

Don't know why the photo is sideway!

Tartan 11-24-2015 06:51 AM

Cute tree and the photo is correct for me!

sewingitalltogether 11-24-2015 07:07 AM

Very cute. I could see me making one. Thanks for sharing.

jennieb 11-24-2015 07:07 AM

Just my style. I assume you also made the darling little quilt hanging out of the drawer?? Pattern?

Gail B 11-24-2015 07:32 AM

That is sew cute! Love the ornaments.

feline fanatic 11-24-2015 07:54 AM

What a great take on the Advent calendar. I have to say your display looks like it came right out of a quilting magazine with cute quilts peeking out everywhere. Like the bears paw folded up in the background and the house and tree quilt sneaking out the drawer. I can just imagine how lovely your home must be during the holidays.

SewExtremeSeams 11-24-2015 08:08 AM

Oh, I love it.

thimblebug6000 11-24-2015 08:41 AM

Wow, that is so beautiful! llweezie, if you right click on your picture and then click view image, the picture shows properly. I guess it must have something to do with if we are viewing it on a PC or ipad.

Love your tree!

AZ Jane 11-25-2015 08:29 AM

LOL, I bought the pattern, have the fabric, I have completed one block!! I am having severe issues with paper piecing!! It is right in my head, but I did way more un-sewing on that one block than I do on most full size quilts!! I will get back to it but I am amazed and thrilled at your tree!!

Irene C. 11-25-2015 09:15 AM

Oh my , I do love this tree! I was just at a show & saw 2 of these trees, one lady attached tiny lights! So, I too have this on my list to do. BUT!! I have a 'mental' problem with paper piecing!! It seems to be sew easy, but everytime I attempt it..I go crazy!!

QuiltnNan 11-26-2015 12:30 PM

nicely done

caspharm 11-26-2015 04:09 PM
