Your fabric choice is great. Looking forward to seeing the completed OBW.

These blocks make you look like a professional for sure. Great choice in fabric I loved it before and really like it in your blocks.

 I haven't gotten the nerve up to do one of these. But you made it sound easy. Love the white block. Might just try this on some of the fabric in my stash that I don't really love. BrendaK

I can see why it was on the clearance rack. It's kinda on the ugly side but you improved it BIG TIME!!! It'll be a smashing OBW!! Isn't it nice nobody else saw the true potential in this fabric and left it for you!!

I just finished cutting all my less than gorgeous fabric into triangles. That's 576 equilateral 3.5 inch triangles, but who's counting?? Had to stop for a snack and a cup of tea so my vision could go back to normal. LOL

Thankfully, I saw someone (mimisharon, I think?) had stacked her pieces in paper plates. This is genius. It stacks so compact and keeps everything manageable. Reusable, too!

If anyone is really thinking about making one, I'd love to have a little virtual quilt-along! We could hold hands and figure this out together!

Pictures of my favorite blocks in a few minutes.

Beautiful! I love the OBW look and absolutely love pink and green! Keep us posted on your progress. I want to try one of these so badly but I feel so intimidated by it!

*whoops, I just read that the background is blue, it is still beautiful! I agree, use the virgin fabric for the backing!

i suppose the background is open for interpretation...i called it blue because my wall color is robin's egg blue. however, it's sort of aqua, which is technically green.
agreed though...pink and green together are the bees knees!
