Just wanted to post a preview of a work in progress. It is a gift for my son and future DIL who just bought a house together.

Oh my God, the colors are really beautiful. For sure your son and DIL will love it.

Thank you Aurora, wish I was further ahead in the process. This is 3 days worth of cutting, sewing then cutting and sewing again. Tonight was the first night I stopped sewing before midnight. Tomorrow I need to pin and sew those strips before I can continue since this is only about a 3rd of the quilt.

Thank you everyone..:) It took about an hour to pick all the colors, I thought it was never going to end..:) I want to try and finish the top before I leave for Boston on Friday.

Thank you everyone, been in the quilt room all day with it and it is slow going having to pin every nest to make sure everything lines up perfectly. I've only gotten 10 of the 16 for the first quarter of the quilt done so far today. Going to try and get the first quarter done and figure out a different way to do the next quarter.
