All of you Ugly Fairies sending your Ugly fabrics to me, the Ugly Queen make me so proud. Yesterday I got home from the Lancaster Quilt show and on the table is a package. I think, "Hummm I didn't order anything. Maybe it is from my Secret Quilt Angel." I look and it is from Ct. I have never gotten anything from there before. What could it be?!?!?! I open it and it is an offering from one of my Ugly Fairies. Oh you Fairies are so good to me. I knew immediately what I was going to do with it.
As you can see Evil loves it too. Thank you so much.

I love that fabric - I used it to make placemats for my DDL. It suits their decor perfectly! It will bring out the red hot Mama in you.

Evil seems to really be enjoying it. I agree- hot pads. napkins, placemats, an apron for a guy would be great.

I agree!! I like it........have an apron made from one with larger peppers. My cat, Psycho Lulu is in total agreement with Evil!

What did you think of the Lancaster Show? My friends and I went just to the vendors mall at the old location. It didn't cost us a thing to get in or park. I mainly go for the shopping anyway. We figured the same quilts will be at Hershey later on this summer. We had a good time and managed to spend lots of money. Then we stopped at the Joanns in York on the way home. It is one of the nicest stores in that chain. The one closest to me is a mess.

I think it would be gorgeous with a gold or yellow and made into a quilt. Matching the same intensity as the red and green, I think any fabric would make a great quilt. Good luck with whatever you decide to make with it. I don't think it is ugly.

I actually like that fabric. I would probably do an apron and potholders or a kaleidoscope quilt for a foodie.

Peckers or peppers, I like it! ;) I finally got a piece of the original ugly. I'm thinking about framing it.

I'm thinking Ninnie is behind all of this....after all, it was her idea, and next thing you know, kwhite gets some in the mail... :shock:

I wouldnt call it ugly(it wouldn't go in my home) but I would use it for a gift if it fit into someone's decor. NOW I COULD SEND YOU SOME REAL "WHAT WAS I THINKING" fabric...I will say it was one of the few fabrics I purchased on line that I just hate. 98 per cent of the time, I love them....but this one must have looked better in the picture..wouldnt you know I bought several yards of it :(

How was the quilt show? I didn't go this year I only live about 40 miles from Lancaster, don't know what got into me this year. I will go to the Hershey, Pa. show. July 22-25-10.
