Oh, I just love it, but, as a new collector, I have no clue what it is. I'd love it if others would post photos of their favorites, too. Here are a couple of my recent very inexpensive finds in antique stores. The cream colored ones are bakelite and are 1.5 inches across. And the card with pink heart centers are about 1 inch. I just love them, but have no clue what I will do with them. I'm open for suggestions!!!

This board is such an enabler - I love buttons and now I have bookmarked Jan in VA's suggestions and others showing their collections - I am not getting any quilting done today!

those are beautiful...I buy buttons and resell them on ebay. I currently have the one in question on ebay for 14.99. Since I dont know what it is made of and haven't been able to find anything like it, I also asked if anyone knew what it was or more about it to please let me know. So far no bids.

Oh gosh. I should start selling my stuff on eBay, too. Have tons of things, but no time to figure out how to sell. But I sure know how to BUY!!! Is it difficult to get started selling?

not really difficult, just do some research as to what your item might be worth and post it accordingly. It is fun to watch and see what happens.

I was given a gallon jar of old buttons, wish I found something like that in it. But I am happy with what I do have.
