:D I saw this pattern in a magazine and loved it! It was a chance to use some big patterned fabrics I didn't want to cut up. It was a little tricky coming up with 5 colors for the strips and what order to put them in, but I love how it came out. I'm making another one using this pattern--but I made everything smaller. The colors for that one were trickier! :? But I love what I found--after many trips to several quilt shops. :D I'll be finishing that next. This one is not quilted yet--I'm getting a small pile to ready for the quilters. Sure wish I could quilt them--but I have no patience for it and it never comes out quite right with my old small machine. What a joy it is to hand it all off to Jill and pick it up done! :D I love to bind them though, so I always have that left to do.
The last picture is of the material I'm using for the next one!! 8) |
Awesome! Love how you placed the colors together... Very nice! :)

That is amazing! I love the color placement, too. What a great effect!!
Thanks for the inspiration. I have several large scale prints.... rf |
Oh--I have another great idea I tried for large scale prints...it's a wall hanging I just need to sew the binding on--which I should get finished by tonight--I'll post pictures when I'm done. I like the new idea better than this one even. Although--this one was incredibly easy.
