What a TERRIFIC idea! I was at a garage sale one year and found a shoe box FULL of this stuff ... as a hunter/gatherer, (hoarder <g>) I couldn't pass up the great deal, but the binding hasn't been disappearing any too quickly. It will now - - if I can remember where I put it <g>

You could also use it as piping under your regular binding. Just place it at the edge of the quilt under your regular binding.
