Read it carefully, the cutting directions are spread out all over the place. Also, one thing I am going to do differently is I am not going to piece all the strips together then cut for the borders. It's like 1000 inches. I can't stand long binding strips, so that would be 3x as long. I used yardage for the white and cut my strips lengthwise so that I don't have to piece all of them.

Lol this is what I get for not reading the pattern. I pieced my border with squares and not by the strip. This was my first quilt with a pieced border and backing. So I was hesitant not to do the pieced border, but I'm so glad I did. I was only off by 1/8", well worth the pieced border. I love the look!
