A fellow QB member requested for some Joann's fabric from the 90's. I knew I had some so I went digging in my stash, found it and lots more. My taste in colors has evolved and I love bright bold colors now, Amy Butler, KF and Michael Miller.
So my mission lately is use some of my old fabric colors, without buying anymore fabric. This is what I came up, three fabrics are from the 90's only the white is current Moda. I also was inspired by the pattern CJTinkle did recently. http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-132388-1.htm Pattern is on the Moda Recipe Blog. |

Awesome!
|
I think you made the old fabric look modern.....Good for you! I have been using some 90's fabric myself lately. Hehe.
I love the quilting you did as well. |
you did yourself and the fabric proud. It came out very pretty. I love quilts that are beautiful in the pattern and work put into them, not because of flashy fabrics or gimicky stuff. Don't get me wrong I find beauty in those flashy contempory quilts as well just not the same warm comfortable feeling I get when I look at a quilt like the one you made. Job well done
|
very pretty. love what you did with the basic nine patch block.
|
It's beautiful! Good job.
