From Old Jeans to a shopping bag!
1 Attachment(s)
I was messing around and came up with this from old jeans using binding for the finish on the top and some fabric for some piping.. Now I have lots of shopping bags.. and they wash up...

Awesome! What a great idea. With three kids, I have an endless supply of jeans.
|
Clever, wish i wouldn't have donated all the outgrown jeans to goodwill........love your bags
|
Excellent! And besides being able to wash them, think how long they will last!!
|
Those are wonderful. You should do a tute. I would love to make some.
|
What a great idea...and they will be strong too :)
|
What a nice idea for "Going to Grandma's and Grandpapa's House" bags...

Your bags are really cute. should do something with the hamper full of jeans, but can't rush into anything. lol

What a great idea. We all seem to have old jeans and what a perfect way to use them.
|

Positioning a pocket near the top of the bag is doubly useful. Nice work. REcycling rocks.

What a wonderful idea. I have some jeans I'll never get back into and some that my daughter has worn but cannot be handed down as they are too faded or torn. I may just have to cut them up!
|
very nice job, and I know they are very heavy duty and won't rip.
they make nice gifts also. |
How cool. And to they will wear so well as well as being enjoyable to use.

Mix practicallity and beauty and look what you get! You are very clever! Love the bags!

Great job! They would make great last minute gifts too! I wonder how a little embroidery work would look?
|
Wow, you've been busy! Does the one on the lower left have a scalloped edge? Great bags.
