Wow, awesome quilt!!!
|
I would lightly quilt it. It is so beautiful, I would not want the quilting to overwhelm it.

OMG - the quilt is amazing. You are to be congratulated on finishing it, especially for a king size bed. It's absolutely beautiful.
|
Absolutely gorgeous! I agree that a curved or circle quilting would look great.

Nice quilt.

Absolutely gorgeous. I don't think I would like all the cutting and piecing. It sure was worth all your time spent on it.

The first time I saw the Omigosh, I knew I had to make one. After completing a watercolor log cabin I had a bunch of 1 1/2" floral strips already cut and decided I would use them for the Omigosh. It took some recalculating, but I did finish it and mine came to be 93 x 113 (with borders). Even though my blocks are larger (9" finished), the quilt still looks impressive and it's all made from leftover scraps, which is very satisfying.
Yours is beautiful - I'm sure it will look stunning after it is quilted. |
WOW, WOW, WOW !!! It is beautiful.

Great job Bobbi. As talented as you are at quilting, I have to agree with the others that an all over E2E would probably be best for this one so as to let your piecing shine. Another option is to completely ignore the piecing and come up with some modern quilt design. But if this were mine, I think I would be pulling out the pantos.
