You get a gold star for patience! In case you ever need to do more circles, you may want to get the "perfect circles" set. They are made out of mylar and make circles so much easier.

I love this, it has such a lot of charm, would be fantastic in a quilt, I can visualise it all finished and quilted. Lovely work.

Cute quilt block. I love the small print you used in the back-round. I did a large leaf quilt in applique and I did it all by hand.It seemed to go fast and was vey simple to do. What made it nice was it was 4 large leaves on a large single colored block. I used all colored prints for the leaves and set them on white blocks. Then I used gren for the sashing and border.Good applique to practice on. Not near as hard as some I've done. Quick quilt to do.

That's a great technique......I've put that in my mental box for later.....thanks....:)

Your applique block looks great! I know how tedious it is to cut fusible web for the stems. If you ever decide to do more applique you might want to get basting glue.
There is a product called Glue-Baste made by Roxanne Products Co. You can find it in well stocked LQS's and on the web. It is a small 2oz. bottle with a needle thin top for applying very small dots of glue. :D

That is so cute. Applique is so beyond my abilities. Great job.

I didn't think of using glue and I should have. I have some glue that I use for raw edge machine applique and for attaching binding.

I've heard of the circles but haven't looked into it yet. I save those thin, hard cardboard pieces that come with charm packs and use them for templates.

I got 7 of the berries done tonight, maybe I can get it done tomorrow and get the rest of the top sewn together. :-P

Great job--I would love to see it with all of its companion blocks.
