K3n, I am planning to try one block wonder method and a stack of 6 layers of same printed strips has been sitting in my sewing room for a while. What is the length of the each side of regular triangle you used for a piece?

I cut the strips 3 3/4 " wide here's a pic - the triangles are 60°

Suzie - as far as I know, there isn't a free pattern available anywhere online but I would recommend the book One Block Wonders by Maxine Rosenthal which explains the technique really clearly. Her second book One Block Wonders Encore also tells how to make the hollow cubes shown in one pf my pics above. It also gives an overview of the technique so I guess you could manage with just the second book but I'd say get both - the first alos describes the octogan method - these are hexagons.

Thanks Kn3. I really appreciate it, I've bookmarked this for later so I can look on Amazon for the books.
