I am working on a traditional Baltimore Album and a funkier one! Here is the center block and one corner block on the funkier one. I refer to it as "Move over Baltimore".
I have tried to post a couple of times. If I've duplicated my post, I apologize. Anxious to see more of your pictures..lots of neat ideas, beautiful blocks out there! |

I have started this pattern and am in the process of cutting fabric. I havn't cut the stems and leaves yet and will reconcider the color choice. Your colors are great. I know I can do better that the green blender I have out now. I will be watching to see future blocks. Are you planning to duplicate the corner blocks. After seeing the beautiful varity of colors you are using, I might just make each corner block different.

Beautiful
Fantastic job using batiks. I really like the looks of this.
Thank you all so much! It is basically needleturn however, I use Mylar templates alot. I do the leaves and flowers pretty much the same way as circles are done (baste, pull the thread and iron..or starch and iron). It takes a little more time to do that, but less to actually do the stitching. It just works best for me.
What would the Baltimore Ladies think! Beautiful work and great fabric choices.
I love it. Good work Kathi
I really love the funky version!
Love, love those blocks. Great fabrics, gives so much personality. Batiks are my favorite.
