My latest creation....

A gift for a dear friend in Southern California. I worked on this quilt for about 2 months off and on. I made each nine patch square separate and then pieced it together. The solid sashing between the blocks covers where I sewed them together. Then I machine embroidered the center of each three striped nine patch block. I chose three dominant colors in the fabric.

Gail r designed my label as per my instructions. Thanks Gail :)

I love the embroidery on it. Matches the quilt perfectly! The colors are so pretty!

Love the blue and green and the embroidery just gives it a nice finishing touch.
