One Fall and One Winter ...
4 Attachment(s)
I just finished the quilting and hand work on these two lap quilts out of the UFO bin. It feels wonderful to have them finished and ready to use. (gift?)
I wish the photos were better, but, I know you gals can get the idea. I took the best long picture I could and a close up of the fabrics. Thanks for looking. |
The second picture of the first fall quilt is truer to the real color of the sashing's. A jade green with a tango corner stones. I had no control, these quilt blocks wanted those colors to set them with.

great quilts... i love the country themes
Great quilts! Super treatment of large landscape fabric combined with piecing.
I love them. The broken dishes effect on the winter quilt adds a good effect. Good use of larger prints.
Both are so pretty, where did you get the winter fabric?
Beautiful quilts, I really like the winter one.
Both are lovely!
I love the jade with fall colors. I'm not one to use fall colors because we don't see much of that around here, but this quilt is really pretty. And the winter quilt is outstanding.

I really like those fabrics! You did a great job. I know what you meant when you said you had not control! They do 'talk' to you, don't they?
Both are awesome quilts!
I really like both of those. Great use of landscape fabrics!
Great work on both!!!!!

Love them both. If I were being gifted, I would ask for the fall quilt. It is my favorite.
Pretty quilts! Absolutely love, love, love the second one.... winter is my favorite time of year. I love snow, what can I say? Would you mind sharing your pattern sizes with us? Thanks!

love that style of quilt and both of yours shown here. Really awesome and so fun to look at. This is what I've been doing, compared to quilt. Hoping to return to doing more quilting. I did make a small one for recent and # 16 gg-child.

I love both of your quilts. Especially drawn to the winter; as I never consider using white as sashing. It works perfectly with your winter quilt.
