Decided I needed to look throught my UFO's and finish one w/ in the next few weeks.
I have wanted to finish this one for awhile and saw I did not have much to go.
So here is a pic of what I have. The block is a shaded 9 patch and you make your design by twisting and turning your blocks the way you want to form them. Decided on this design.

I'd skip the borders and just do pattern right out to the edge. So that the final blocks being right at the binding edge, add on three full rows (to match your insert sections) of the multi-beige/white lights. Then a scrappy binding of all the darks will nicely set it off.

What size do each of your nine patches finish at?

olgaflowers 05-31-2011 12:36 PM

I agree with quiltE :)

I have made several "shadaed nine patch" quilts but never
thought of turning the blocks in diferent ways. Love your blocks.
