So charming! I too hope it will be used as a wall hanging. I have done embriodery keepsakes with the childs name and birthdate, wt, ht and framed it. She can then use this as a jumping off point to decorate the child's room.

I learned many years ago that you make baby quilts to be loved and dragged around on the floor or any place else they want to drag them. These should be made with love for a child. An heirloom quilt like the one you made should be made with that in mind.
I can't tell you how many quilts that I have made and the parents say oh I can't let them play with that! I tell them the quilt was made for them and that is what it is for". Lols Linda

Thank you" ITs just the way I feel" Quilts are there to be enjoyed. Its kind of like the cotton fanatic police" what do they think that quilts were originally made out of? anything and everything they had on hand to keep warm. Now thats not saying that I don't usually make mine out of 100! cotton but I am not a fanatic about it either. All the quilts I make are out there to be loved , spit up on, stepped on and most importantly curled up in and loveddddddddd lols Linda

Goodness - I wouldn't let a baby anywhere near that gorgeous quilt. You might need to make the baby a quick and easy drag-around quilt - LOL.

I think I'd make a similar quilt to be used and put this one on the wall. Beautiful work and I love the quilting too.
