I haven't made, but a handful of quilts so I'm not that experienced. Since I posted my handbags I figured it's silly for me not to post a quilt. I made this a couple of years ago. So I've only made a handful of quilts. I could probably count on one hand. I see all of the beautiful quilts on this site so I'm hoping I'll get motivated soon :)

Love the way you tied it. Is it difficult to get ribbon through the quilt? Any hints?

Hopetoquilt,
I made the bow and after the quilt was finished I attached the bows by using a regular hand stitch. I went through the quilt and then ran the needle through the bottom of the bow where the knot was and did this a few times to each bow. Kind of how you would stitch a button onto something. I hope that makes sense. |

What did you use to keep the ribbon edges from fraying? It's very nice work. Don't sell yourself short. Your work is inspiring in itself. Show us more!
