Pretty quilt. Just be glad you noticed it before it was quilted! I once made a mistake that I didn't notice til after it was quilted.....I am still living with the mistake. I actually had thought of taking that part of the quilting out and fixing it, but then I thought I might make matters worse. It is only noticed if the quilt is hung up....using it as a throw, it would never be noticed, so I have "somewhat" excepted it.

I have had it twice and actually love the crazy misplaced block. I did Nellie's Wedding Quilt from Bonnie Blue and one block, each having four basket blocks facing the center, has the baskets all facing the wrong directions. It just makes me smile each time I find it.

Another, Virginia Bound by Bonnie Hunter, has half of one of the stars going the wrong way and again it was so funny to me that i left it. It was very disconcerting to my long armer but I still love it now that it is done and the block left the way it ended up.

Maybe i see the humor because I dont want to rework it. It reminds me always that we are not perfect.

I think most of us here have done something like that more than once. Know that its a beauty either way!

I can't see it.

Been there, done that! You'll be happier with it corrected...just think of the end game! Very nice quilt!

It is sooo pretty. But I had to search to find it. You know these 'professional' eyes of ours! The one receiving it would never have seen it. But we want everything we make to be perfect, heh?

It took me a while and I had to use the hint posted. I can always tell someone else no one would notice, and most wouldn't, but being me I'd obsess over it so I'd have to fix it :-).

Native Americans weaving or bead work always had something out of place...in the beading it was called a "spirit bead" and it symbolized that no one on earth was perfect...the Great Spirit was the only perfect entity and those "mistakes" prove that we aren't perfect.....I'd leave it and go with that!!!

I know how you feel. I did it to a point on a big star quilt. I left it and the new owner loved it. I told her it was a mystery.
