Only you can spot it. Leave it be! Beautiful quilt. I love the designs that you used to fill in with. Great choice of colors. Super overall job.

justflyingin 02-19-2011 06:11 AM

I'd fix it.

scaroca 02-19-2011 06:17 AM

I would fix it. It will take a short time to fix it or a life time of looking at the mistake.

Thank you everyone for your input. I decided to fix it. My quilts are Not flawless , by any means. Just wanted it to look right.

GladGrams 02-19-2011 06:23 AM

If it's a wall hanging I would fix it, but if it's going to be used on a bed, I'd leave it.

stacey65 02-19-2011 06:24 AM

very nice job... love it

Annaquilts 02-19-2011 06:26 AM

No leave it and use that side to tuck in at the end of the bed. I had to really look for it and would not have known unless you pointed it out.

stitchofclass2 02-19-2011 06:36 AM

It is a gorgeous quilt. Love the design and colors. If you hadn't said anything I didn't notice it. Remember, "Only God is Perfect". I'd say leave it, but it is your call. Good luck. Yolanda Wood River

lillybeck 02-19-2011 06:36 AM

It would depend on how bad it bothers you. I would leave it if it were ine because there is always a mistake in mine but you do what feels right for you.

CorneliaVa 02-19-2011 06:41 AM

Oh! Please fix it .... you will be much more satisfied in the longrun....

joyce888 02-19-2011 06:54 AM

I think I agree with Lea, it looks like a simple fix.

Cris 02-19-2011 07:07 AM

would not have noticed if you did say anything, its pretty!

karenpatrick 02-19-2011 07:20 AM

I think I'd probably fix it. It is pretty obvious to other quilters but maybe not to non-quilters. It would bother me so I think I'd fix it.

Drew 02-19-2011 07:46 AM

I think since you've brought it up to the Forum that it bothers you and I would fix it. I love the quilt! Hope it does well at the auction!

jnagy1206 02-19-2011 07:46 AM

The question is....does it bother you? If so, fix it. If not, leave it. I am a perfectionist and a little "OCD" so I would probably fix it. But another question would be...is there a deadline to finish the project?

Jeanniejo 02-19-2011 07:48 AM

I would leave it.

Bye_the_Bye 02-19-2011 07:53 AM

Isn't is funny how taking a photo of our work can make a mistake stand out? Now is the time in the process to fix it with minimal work.

bullfrog 02-19-2011 08:15 AM

Is that what is called a religious mistake. I've done that, and I can't stand it, I always have to fix it.

Rascalonious 02-19-2011 08:25 AM

I am new to sewing quilts, but my humble opinion is this: The top block doesn't exactly match the bottom one. So what? I love it!

I think you'll be much happier if you fix it. It's a beautiful quilt. I am an expert at unsewing and resewing! It's really not too difficult. Bring it over. I'll help!

nativetexan 02-19-2011 08:57 AM

leave it. i didn' tnotice it.

Damsel in DisDress 02-19-2011 09:10 AM

Only you will know! :D

trolleystation 02-19-2011 11:20 AM

On a large block like that I would fix it. If I left it my eye would continually go to that spot.

ConcreteSher 02-19-2011 11:30 AM

Leave it. I've left "mistakes" in tops, meaning to go back at some point and fix them. However, as often as not, I can't even find my own mistakes!

Stitchnripper 02-19-2011 11:36 AM

If it bothers you, fix it. If not, don't.

I agree, before you mentioned it I didn't see a problem, and even after it took a while for me to see exactly what you were talking about. It seems pretty minor I would leave it, it is beautiful just the way it is

ditto that.. i had to look for a few minutes to spot it...

neeng 02-19-2011 03:30 PM

I would leave it, but if it stands out to you and will bug you forever, fix it.

Love the quilt btw, gorgeous subject and colours, and I really love the colourful fabric "feathers' at the sides.

Julianna 02-19-2011 03:32 PM

I would change it.

patski 02-19-2011 03:52 PM

Leave it if its a snuggle under quilt, Fix it if its for a show

Ditter43 02-19-2011 03:59 PM

Beautifully artistic quilt! I wouldn't change a thing!! :D

brightstar_202 02-19-2011 04:07 PM

Hey I never noticed till you brought it to my attention. It is beautiful though.....

dixiebelle162002 02-19-2011 04:13 PM

If you hadn't told me I probably wouldn't have noticed, but it sounds like it bothers you or you wouldn't have asked. I love the quilt it is really beautiful. My husband would go crazy about!

Tweety2911 02-19-2011 04:17 PM

Since it isn't quilted yet and a fairly simple fix I would do it. It would haunt me if I didn't :-)

quilt3311 02-19-2011 04:20 PM

I would leave it, but if it bothers you to much and isn't to much trouble to change, go for it. Personally I would declare it to be "my intentional error" if someone asks about it.

patimint 02-19-2011 04:21 PM

I didn't see it at first either, I am not a perfectionist, so I would just leave it, but I am will the rest, if it bothers YOU, redo it. It looks great as is.

Lilrain 02-19-2011 04:38 PM

leave it, no one would notice except you

Alex J 02-19-2011 04:45 PM

Then since it's for someone else then I would fix it. But When I first looked at it it took me a while to see it, if it was for me I would leave it but since it not for you then.....

IDquilter 02-19-2011 05:25 PM

No one will notice unless you point it out, if it bothers you that much then perhaps you should fix it, otherwise isn't that how it is supposed to be?

Ginger 02-19-2011 05:28 PM

It's a must fix. The quilt is fantastic.
