I like the yellow... It makes the other blocks pop out. But, then, what do I know. lol
|
You did a great job on your plates, they are beautiful!
I like the white sashing.... but how about turning the 9-patch 45 degrees so it's a diamond shape...? That way the white in the 9 patch would blend with the white background of plates? |
yellow sashing if you want it to POP,however it's so beatiful that any would do.I did a Dresden Plate in greens and purples and it to is lovely using yellow centers and yellow sashing.

love the lighter yellow centers to use as sashing. it will help to match everything up.
|
I vote for the white; The blocks are so beautiful, Great Job! .. I think they need the simplicity of the white so you aren't distracted.. Nice Work!!!
|
I like the 9-patch cornerstones with yellow sashing in the same fabric as the Dresden centers. Love your colors!! Dresden Plate is on my to-do list.....someday.

It would be beautiful either way, but I would prefer the yellow sashing. I seems to brighten the whole quilt. (If that is at all possible!)

Your opinion -- PLEASE! |
I also like the white sashing best. I would put on a piano border or a nine patch border using all of the colors you used in the dresden plates. That would add more color to your quilt and add more interesting things to look at. In other words, you want to get the viewer's eyes to travel around the quilt and get them excited to see what's there. I love to design quilts, so I hope this has helped.
