Optical illusion wall hanging
1 Attachment(s)
This is similar to the Great Escape wall hanging I did, but just couldn't resist the design when I saw it on an adult colouring pages web site. With hindsight, I wished ,I had used all batiks or secured the edges better before the satin stitching because some of the seams tended to pull out of the stitching with so much handling.

Very interesting design and the colors you used are great for it. I have to say I just love the entryway and the vintage items you have there!

It is so funny, seeing this beautiful modern hanging in a niche with Victorian lovelies, I kind of have to like it.

I am surprised that no one inquired about the pattern. Is it an original? In either case, I love it and would like to know if there is a pattern. I loved anything with optical illusions. Great Job!

Your wall hanging is spectacular. I think your choice of color gradations for the project are perfectly chosen.I admire quilters who go for such challenges but the results are worth it. I also like your entry way decor-I love antiques and decorate with them also.

I'll bet you loved Escher's work as a bed time story. LOL
