Thanks so much for all of your encouragement.Yes, the bown is pansies, and I do have 2 more yards left...I like the narrow than wide idea, but need even more as it has to be a King, and I didn't realize it till yesterday. Now I REALLY need borders! What do you think of a strip about 5" wide of brown or blue--then a 5" strip repeating the bargello pattern, and a blue binding???

Stunning!
May be a smaller blue inner order and a wider brown outer border. |
I love the way it moves!
|
that is pretty!!! I want to make one of those some day...
|
Narrow (no more than 1") of the brown solid, then a medium blue wider border. Bind it brown.
But ... lay the border fabric down and audition the quilt on it. I sometimes lay mine out and just look at them for a day or two in different light of day before I make a decision. |
Awesome quilt! Love the colors. I agree with cream and brown for the border. Great job! :-P

Well done. I agree with others that have suggested brown and blue borders, they look great together and depending upon which colour you want to be dominant make that the wider of the two.

Stunning! I am gathering fabrics to make one for my sons friendgirl. Hope it is as lovely as yours.
