I posted pictures of my flowers yesterday as one reason for not being on the board lately. Another reason is that I had a family 'quilting retreat' at my house in late June. I had a lot to do the get ready for it. One thing was updating my kitchen and finishing some projects that I wanted to use as displays for the retreat. One sister and I did a tutorial on a French Braid table runner so made some examples. Plus I had to increase the size of my Kitchen table from a 4 seater to a 7 seater. (Accomplished by using a piece of plywood covered with black vinyl). It make my new quilted tablecloths much too small, but we managed anyway.

beautiful....come decorate for me???? ;)

I love your window valance I'll have to try that.
|
Great job on everything. I especially like the dresden plate quilt.
|
To make the quilting show up, light it from an angle when you take the picture. This gives it the shadows needed.

Awesome...hoping my sisters and I can get together to quilt sometime!
|
Nice job!! You are excused. . .

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your using your quilts in your decor. The french braid runners by the door as well as the valance is an awesome use of that pattern and just gorgeous!!! You've got my mind working overtime now trying to figure out what I can do like that. Thanks for sharing!!!
