Sandpat and Cordelia, your piecing is exquisite. I've not had time to look through everyone's pictures but am amazed by your work!! I'm just in this thread to check on secret santa stuff. I've been shopping and having so much fun doing it (like I need a reason to head to the quilt shop :lol: ).

Oh the weather outside is beautiful and the fire has not been lit yet but that's not keeping us from thinking let it snow let it snow let it snow.

Happy to report Chicagoland is at a balmy 76 degrees today and we're wearing shorts! Happy Christmas shopping!!!!

Donna, what do you think about the different squares in the star? Is that ok or do you want me to just make the star all the same pink? I'll be happy to go either way for you if you'll just let me know. I really like this block and think it will make a really pretty quilt.

I finished the last one today. It was the cotton blossum and I don't know why this one was so hard for me. I still don't have the points exactly to my liking, but...sigh....I just can't get it any better..I've taken it apart at least 5 times! I love the block though...it just doesn't like me! Anyway..here it is.

All the blocks I have made I make one for the person and one for me. So I will get two quilts done.

One with all the blocks you ladies send me and one of everyones blocks that I have made.

Sandpat = GREAT JOB!! Isn't this fun?? But I too had trouble with the Clover Blossom. I posted it, but have ripped it 3 times since I couldn't get it to be 12 1/2 inches. Still can't, so I'm going to start over from scratch when done with all the others. I'm not upset though as I joined the swap to force me to do blocks I would normally not do, so I WILL get it right the next time! i have learned so much........

Sandpat, your blocks look great. When I looked at them last night before going to bed, I thought to myself that you forgot the other Annie's Choice and I felt so bad for the person. DUH. In looking at the sheet this morning, I realized that person was YOU!!! I have 7 done now - 5 more to do!

I think the labels are like post its with the name of the block, person's name and your name.

Oh those aren't my labels, those are bits of paper, I still need to do the labels to. For everyone's reference I went back to Bebe's orignal email for the label guidelines and pasted them in below.

annmarie, it really wasn't I just arranged my mail by name and then picked the one with the correct subject line. The hard part was keeping the letter! :)

When shipping your package only put your return address not your name on the box. It needs to remain a secret until the 14th. Put a card inside with your name.
