Cordelia wants black for background and her block in orqange and yellow brights batik okay. Block needs to be 12 1/2 make blocks smaller.

Yes, Bebe, but the question is what part of the block does Cordelia see as the background? We don't want to put the black in the wrong place.

Nice job ccbear66! I've got that one on my cutting mat waiting for my attentions. I would have sat down to do it this afternoon, but dd needed to get outside and play in the sprinkler, and then we had a whole bug wasp identification thing going on. Life never stops and certainly not for a mom! :D Did I mention I love the mom part?

Hi, everyone. I'm sorry my block was unclear. I like the Bambury Cross so much and the block at Marcia Hohn's site (blocks galore) is 15". That's the size I would like.

In the rules, I thought it had to be 12 inches, so I thought it would have to be sized down. But, since it can be the size it is on the site, I'd like the 15" size.

I'm posting a quick picture of my two colors: I guess now that I look at the design, it's hard to know what's the background. So, I sketched one up.

The orange doesn't have to be exact, I'm not picky about the color. That's just my idea of firey orange or yellow/orange.
