Thank you for you generous time and effort to make such a beautiful quilt. As a retired AF person, these quilts do mean a lot to our deployed men and women.

This quilt was made from scraps-how much easier can it get!! It truly was my pleasure to make it.

I love this idea and wonder whether you know if other airports in NY do this also? I'm in the Syracuse area and would love to contribute to a similar program at our airport if it's available.
I don't belong to a guild or anything, but would donate quilts as I am able to make them.

The Military room at Hancock is called the Gregory J Harris Military Coutesy room you can find out more about them here : http://www.gregharrismcr.org/

I just did a search and discovered that many airports have hospitality lounges for the military. Some fall under USO but many others are like the ones mentioned above. What a wonderful way to support our troops.

Great quilt and cause. Vets deserve so much from us. I am a vet but was never in a war. God Bless you.

And God bless you for serving our country. Thank you for your service.

What a nice quilt. Do they take and USE the quilt, or do they take it HOME with them? Would this be a good quilt to use for a Quilt of Valor quilt? I know these might seem like silly questions, but if I don't ask I won't know the answer, right? Thank you all.
